Presolve v8.2.18: Easier call review, clearer intake reporting, and more reliable case records

Building on v8.2.17, this release brings daily call-review queues, delivery-status filters, and intake call details, alongside improvements to browser calling, lead reporting, documents, notes, and referral links.

Review unmatched calls from Approvals

Find Teams and RingCX calls needing a case match in Approvals, grouped by call date in your firm’s timezone. Search the queue, attach calls to the correct case, or dismiss them. Each daily item clears when all its calls are resolved.Availability: Requires Approvals access and integration-management permissions in the selected firm. Attaching a call requires write access to the destination case.Read the guide

Filter leads by delivery status

Focus the admin lead list on Delivered, Pending, Not Delivered, or Untagged RingCX delivery states. Combine selections with other filters and keep the same selection across pagination, totals, and bulk sharing.Availability: Available in the admin lead list with existing lead-access permissions. Statuses match the displayed RingCX delivery badges.Read the guide

Review intake call activity inside a case

Open Intake Call Data under Intake’s Additional Details to review assigned agents, call attempts, connections, outcomes, and callback times. Copy displayed values without leaving the case.Availability: Requires call-log viewing permission and unrestricted access to the case. Activity appears when the case has a synced RingCX summary.

Restore incoming-call availability after refreshing

Keep your browser’s Receive calls choice when refreshing the same tab. Presolve reconnects automatically and shows availability beside your profile, where you can also turn receiving calls on or off. Failed reconnections show the reason and leave you unavailable.Availability: For users with Teams browser calling enabled and an authorized calling account. Requires browser storage and successful reconnection; only one tab can receive calls. Refreshing still ends an active call.Read the guide

Choose calling contacts more easily

Search and select contacts in one dialer picker, with names, roles, and phone numbers together. Calling dropdowns support keyboard selection and stay above the floating panel. The New call icon is also easier to see in the navigation bar.Availability: For authorized users with Teams calling enabled. Contact choices follow existing access permissions.Read the guide

Keep saved notes readable and failed drafts recoverable

Read saved manual case notes even when an attached document moves or becomes inaccessible. Failed note and flag saves keep your changes in the editor. Post & Send distinguishes a saved note from failed email delivery so retrying delivery does not create another note.Availability: Available in case Notes and flags under existing case permissions. Inaccessible attachment details remain hidden; deleted notes are not restored.Read the guide

Preserve dates from Retell intake

New leads from Retell calls and chats retain valid extracted incident dates and dates of birth, reducing manual re-entry. Invalid dates and future birth dates remain empty.Availability: Applies to newly created leads through configured Retell intake. Existing leads are not backfilled.

Read RingCX lead-performance results more clearly

Review average talk time per call and the share of leads with recorded contact evidence. Signed-contact counts and their drilldowns now follow the selected signing window. Derived call totals handle missing inbound counts while the inbound row still identifies missing data.Availability: Requires reporting access and imported RingCX summaries. Contact evidence is cumulative. The sign-up ratio compares signings in the window with contacted leads created in the window, so it can exceed 100 percent.Read the guide

Keep document task and event badges current

Browse case document tables with fewer repeated requests for linked tasks and events. Badges refresh after creating, editing, unlinking, or deleting linked items, including when a creation drawer finishes while you are away from Documents.Availability: Applies to case document tables and case-linked Library views with existing document and calendar access.Read the guide

Identify representation agreements clearly

Retainers prepared through the admin BoldSign flow now use the title Attorney Representation Agreement, giving recipients a clearer description of the signing document.Availability: Applies to newly prepared agreements through the configured admin BoldSign flow.If accepted-referral details are temporarily unavailable, the first-access link remains unused so the recipient can try again. A temporary loading failure no longer consumes the one-time view.Availability: Applies to one-time first-access links for accepted referrals that include case details.Read the guide

More flexible Teams calling and clearer check referral details

Presolve v8.2.17 adds more ways to call, correct call details, and keep the dialer clear of your work, plus referral context when recording inbound checks.

Call contacts or another number

Start a call from the top navigation, the contact directory, or a case. Choose a contact or enter a US phone number, then call in your browser or open Teams. Browser calls can be saved without selecting a case, making it easier to handle conversations beyond the client’s number.Availability: Requires enabled Teams calling features, an authorized calling account, and call-log permissions. Contact and case choices follow your access. Saving a Teams-app call-note draft still requires a case.Call from your browser

Keep the right person and case on each call

Review and correct the caller, case, and role before, during, or after a browser call. Clear matches can identify case contacts such as adjusters and providers; shared numbers remain open for review. Saved corrections survive later Teams imports, and Last Contact updates when the corrected call qualifies as client contact.Availability: For authorized Teams calling users with the relevant case and contact access. Case reassignment is unavailable once recordings, transcripts, case notes, or follow-up tasks are linked, or recording or transcription work is underway. Names and roles remain editable.Review Teams call records

Move the dialer out of your way

Reposition the browser dialer to keep emails and case notes visible while you call. Drag its handle or use arrow keys without losing the active call or unsaved notes, and reset its position when needed.Availability: Available to users with Teams browser calling enabled and the required calling access.Call from your browser

See referral details while recording a check

Review who referred a case and the referral source type directly above Payor when adding or editing an inbound check, including checks without a linked resolution. This puts referral context beside the receipt without changing existing fee terms or allocations.Availability: Available in individual inbound check forms for users with the required accounting and case access. A selected case is required; missing referral information is identified in the form.Manage checks
Historical entries use the original release date. These summaries were added in September 2026; availability can vary by rollout, configuration, and permissions.

Reporting drilldowns, Teams calling, and firm activity

Improvements

  • Explore report results. Select a count in Lead Performance Summary to search, filter, and sort the underlying cases and leads. Export the matching list to Excel, including results beyond the current page, up to 5,000 rows.
  • Keep calls and notes together. Uniquely matched Teams app calls now appear with their saved notes in Records. Use Link Teams call for eligible older notes; ambiguous matches remain separate for review.
  • Choose how to call. Use Teams in the browser or open the Teams app, with clearer personal account setup. Last Contact updates when a case-linked browser call to a client connects.
  • Review firm activity. Open Activity from the sidebar to review the cases you can access. Authorized firm-wide viewers see Firm activity, including accessible firm-owned cases without a primary attorney.

Fixes

  • Recover from connection problems. Teams settings show clearer sign-in status and a Retry action. The dialer links to calling settings when reconnection is needed, and browser calling handles startup more reliably.
  • Review call details. Call records display clearer participant and recording availability information. Existing eligible recordings can be discovered during follow-up processing.
Availability: Report and case permissions apply. Calling and imported records require your firm’s Microsoft Teams Phone setup and appropriate account access; recording availability depends on the source call.Get started: Reporting · Teams calling · Teams setup.

Custom-field reporting, client calling, and partner intake

New

  • Report on custom matter fields. Use custom Matter Layout fields in report columns, compatible filters and groups, charts, and summaries. Removed fields retain an Archived label so historical answers remain available.
  • Call from the case. Start a client call beside Log Call in the case header or Records. The action uses the available client phone number and your configured Teams calling option.
  • Receive structured Lemon Law intake. Connected partners can submit vehicle and repair details directly into Lemon Law intake fields through supported lead APIs.

Improvements and fixes

  • Start a report from scratch. The New Report dialog now explicitly offers Create Custom Report, alongside templates and existing reports.
  • Clearer calling setup. Teams setup returns you to the originating case or settings, shows connection errors, and offers Open in Teams when browser calling is unavailable. Sync now checks for recent call records.
  • Correct dashboard summaries. Stat Cards now handle zero values and grouped counts correctly.
Availability: Custom-field reporting follows your firm’s configuration and reporting permissions. Calling requires Teams Phone setup; partner intake requires an authorized integration.Get started: Build a report · Client calls · Lemon Law.

Flexible matter layouts and more reliable shared reports

New and improved

  • Customize matter sections. Add text, date, number, and other custom fields inside supported Matter sections. Arrange fields and adjust supported labels and visibility by case type; each matter keeps its own answers.
  • Work across offices. Authorized HQ users can edit shared child-firm reports without making a copy and run compatible reports across their permitted offices.
  • Connect shared Microsoft tenants. A Microsoft tenant can serve multiple Presolve organizations, with separate consent and organization-scoped call imports.

Fixes

  • Consistent retainer dates. The Retainer Signed Date column in My Cases now supports consistent sorting and filtering.
  • Accurate report contact fields. Case reports retain case-specific contact answers and the current primary-attorney assignment.
  • Reliable consent checks. Teams setup can re-check consent after an administrator grants access.
Availability: Layout configuration requires Settings Edit access. Matter and report permissions apply; shared reports require compatible field definitions and HQ permissions. Teams requires verified consent for each organization.Get started: Custom matter layouts · Reporting · Teams setup.

Case lifecycle, lead reporting, and client documents

Improvements

  • Follow the case lifecycle. Converted keeps signed-client history, while Active Cases shows open converted matters your firm remains responsible for. Referrals provides outbound referral status and history; signed matters remain active until the receiving firm accepts.
  • Review lead performance. Lead Performance Summary shows lead volume, outcomes, ownership, and available activity measures in reports, dashboards, and exports. Selected dates identify lead creation; outcomes reflect current records.
  • Use shared HQ reports through the API. Authorized integrations can run HQ-owned shared reports across the permitted organization hierarchy or a selected subset.

Fixes

  • Include client uploads in chronologies. Eligible documents uploaded through the client portal now appear in chronology sources, with working source previews and citations.
  • Open the right signing page. Client retainer notifications open the client agreements page, where clients can sign or download their documents.
  • Archive completed retainers. Completed BoldSign retainers can be stored even when the firm’s brand does not combine the audit trail into the PDF.
Availability: Organization access, report permissions, and integration configuration apply. Lead visibility depends on its source and signing status; active-case handoff processing must finish before newly signed matters appear.Get started: Case lifecycle · Reporting · Chronologies.

Signed-case handoffs, referrals, and HQ visibility

New and improved

  • Know when a signed case is ready. Eligible attorneys and active firm administrators receive a notification after the intake team uploads the signed retainer and completes handoff. Open it directly to the case’s Documents tab.
  • Review firms from HQ. The HQ overview shows open cases, new intakes, overdue tasks, and unassigned cases, with a searchable and sortable firm comparison.
  • See referral context. Restored Referrals navigation makes referral work easier to find. CaseXchange matters can show the sending firm’s referral contact and reported fee information without overwriting locally maintained percentages.

Fixes

  • Keep reporting in the selected firm. HQ report lists, opened reports, and exports preserve the selected organization scope. Report errors offer a retry instead of displaying sample results.
Availability: Handoff alerts require current firm and case access; email and optional SMS follow notification preferences. HQ views cover authorized firms only. CaseXchange details depend on the connected integration and supplied data.Get started: Notifications · Referrals · Reporting.

  • Identify a matter’s source. CaseXchange matters show a source badge in Matter overview, making their origin easier to recognize.
  • Share images in client chat. Clients can attach supported images in DearLegal chat and discuss their contents. Sent images are saved to the selected case’s library.

Lemon Law onboarding applies to eligible created or uploaded matters; repeat completed invitations are suppressed.Get started: Email integrations · Lemon Law.

Report charts, approval reviews, and email choices

New and improved

  • Turn reports into charts. Add bar, line, pie or donut charts, or histograms in the report builder. Preview the chart, save it with the report, and download a PNG.
  • Review pending approvals. Use the Approvals inbox to review eligible workflow actions assigned to you. Workflows can route reviews to selected people or roles.
  • Choose an email sender. The case email composer offers eligible configured senders, including connected Outlook mailboxes.
  • Distinguish contact specialties. Contact lists and referral reporting can distinguish standard and NSA contacts within the viewer’s permitted scope.

Fixes

Availability: Reporting and approval permissions apply. Sender choices depend on configured domains and mailbox access. NSA views remain limited by your role; charts identify when displayed data is truncated.Get started: Report charts · Approval reviews · Email.

  • Find NSA documents. Matter uploads route into the appropriate document folders without overriding manual placement. The attorney EOB Library brings authorized provider EOBs into one view.
  • Manage physician CVs. NSA provider clients can add eligible physicians by NPI and associate their CVs with those physicians after onboarding.
  • Recognize your firm’s invitation. NSA client invitations use the inviting organization’s configured logo.

Fixes

  • Drag files into template uploads. The eSign template uploader accepts dropped files and preserves the edited display name. Give & Get also supports multiple dropped files.
Availability: NSA features require the corresponding practice access; extraction depends on the configured document service and results need review. Upload file types and size limits apply.Get started: NSA workspace · Documents · eSign templates.

  • Edit matter details in place. Authorized attorneys can update client names, dispute details, service lines, and milestones from the NSA Matters tab.
  • Autofill provider information. Provider onboarding uses an organization NPI to look up practice details, with clear retry and manual-continuation options when a lookup is unavailable or finds no match.

Fixes

  • Scroll through the workspace. Page layout changes correct scrolling issues while working through longer views.
Availability: For organizations and users with NSA access. Editing requires case permissions; NPI lookup results must be reviewed and unsupported identifiers remain subject to validation.Get started: NSA workspace.
