Presolve lets you build your own Home dashboards from saved reports. A wallboard, labeled office display in the builder, is a separate display view for a monitor or TV. You can turn a custom Home dashboard into an office display using your saved reports, including stat cards, bar, pie, and line charts, and tables. The Operations KPI template is an optional starting point.

What your team needs

  • An account with access to analytics and reports. Creating the Operations template also requires permission to create reports.
  • Office displays enabled for your organization. Ask your administrator if Use Operations KPI template is missing from a new dashboard.
  • A supported dashboard layout: at most 12 widgets and a layout that fits within 12 grid rows.
  • A signed-in browser on the display device, with access to the dashboard and its reports. The display URL is not a public sharing link.

Start from Home

  1. Open Home.
  2. Select Create Dashboard if you do not have a custom dashboard. If Home shows Manage dashboards, use it to edit your saved dashboard. To start separately, open a new dashboard.
  3. Under Add Widget, select a saved report, then choose one of its saved charts, Stat Card, or Table. Repeat for each widget you want.
  4. Alternatively, select Use Operations KPI template on an empty dashboard to create the ready-made Operations Dashboard and its reports.
  5. Review the data and filters before changing the layout.

The Operations Dashboard preview includes summary cards and an Open display link. This is the builder preview, before opening the separate display page.

The starting dashboard includes Open Matters, Signed Matters MTD, Overdue Tasks, Cases by Stage, Attorney Workload, Cases by Type, Tasks by Owner, Task Completion Metrics, and Task Status Overview. For example, Signed Matters MTD counts matters with a retainer signed during the current month in the organization’s timezone. Overdue Tasks counts incomplete tasks whose due time has passed. Check a metric’s definition before comparing it with a different report.

Arrange and style your widgets

Use Configure to work on the layout. Select a widget to open Widget Settings, then use its drag handle and resize control to arrange it. Office Display settings let you choose text size, weight, and color. Check the result in Preview, especially if people will read the screen from across a room. Remove widgets you do not need with Remove widget. This removes the widget from this dashboard; it does not delete the source report.
For a custom lead dashboard such as “Today,” “Last 7 Days,” and “Last 30 Days,” build and save the corresponding filtered reports first. Add them as Stat Cards using the row-count setting, check each date filter, then enable office display when saving the dashboard. The same saved filters and report access apply on Home and on the display.
Custom charts retain their saved series and appearance and display up to 1,000 result rows and 50 columns. Use report filters to keep large charts readable. Tables show up to the first 100 rows and 50 columns. Scroll within a table to read content that does not fit; for an unattended TV, use fewer columns, narrower filters, or a chart. Resize widgets and check readability on the actual screen.

Save and open the display

  1. Select Save in the builder.
  2. Review the dashboard name and description.
  3. Turn on Enable office display. If the control is disabled, read the requirement shown beside it.
  4. Choose whether to Set as default home page. This controls what you see on Home and is separate from enabling the office display.
  5. Confirm with Save for a new dashboard or Update for an existing one.
  6. Use Open display to open the dedicated page. On your display device, sign in with an authorized account and open that dashboard’s display URL. Use your browser’s full-screen mode if desired.
Review the display’s update time when checking whether the numbers are current. A dashboard saves its configuration; it does not freeze the underlying case or task data.

When a teammate cannot open it

Ask your administrator to check the teammate’s reporting permissions, organization, and access to the saved dashboard. Knowing the URL alone does not grant access. A display can be unavailable if office displays are disabled, the dashboard is no longer eligible, or the account cannot access it. When requesting help, include the dashboard name, its URL, the account and organization you used, and whether the builder itself still opens. See Prepare a useful support request.
